About Darkside. We have been in business for 32 years now. Largest Smoke Shop for hundreds of miles, The Darkside offers blown glass pipes, bubblers, stemless bubblers, inline bubblers, oil domes and glass nails. We have two stores to serve you, one in Redding, California and another in Red Bluff, California. Additionally you can find inside out blown glass pipes, one of a kind heady pieces,inside out silver and gold fumed color changing blown glass pipes, bongs, bubble bags – boldtbags, zippos, briar wood pipes, flags and more than you can imagine! We are the largest smoke shop for hundreds of miles.
History
Established in 1983.
We started inside my Mother’s Business (The Beadman). Then sold The company to my mother and ran it for her in a seperate building (480 sq ft). A few years latter she sold The Darkside back to me. I moved into lager building for a few more years and again moved to a lager building. After 10 years I moved into the current location which is almost 4000 sq ft.
Meet the Business Owner
My name is Bruce Bussard. Have lived in Shasta County my whole life. Also I enjoy many out door activities such as, gardening, swimming, hiking, camping, and most any sport. I am fun loving and easy going for the most part. Try to treat people with the same amount respect that they show me. I have a great sense of humor and can pretty much make anyone laugh.
I have owned The Darkside for over 35 years now and the business is very successful. As well as I enjoy life and being around those who do as well. Have enjoyed living on my 11 acre property filled with deer, squirrels, birds and such. I would love to meet some new people who enjoy the some of the same activities that I do.
